Lindaflor Malbec 2010
Lindaflor Malbec is the ultimate handcrafted expression of Monteviejo's emblematic grape, made from selected plots in Vista Flores, Valle de Uco, known for their exceptional fruit. Its label joins the French fleur-de-lis and the Argentine ceibo flower, symbols of the Franco-Argentine culture of the bodega. A limited production with great aging potential.
Tasting notes
Deep colour with violet hues and good concentration from the vineyard's naturally low yields. Years of aging add complexity: well-integrated oak with the typical fresh plum and subtle floral notes of the bodega's Malbec. A sweet entry, ripe tannins and great balance.
Winemaking
100% Malbec from Vista Flores, Tunuyán, at 1,100 m altitude. Hand-picked, with a double selection of bunches and berries. Cold maceration at 8 °C for 10–15 days, then micro-vinification in 225-litre French oak barrels with 5% whole bunches for freshness. Aged 18–20 months in French oak (60% new). Serve at 14–16 °C. Winemaker José Mounier; consultants Michel Rolland and Marcelo Canatella.
