Blend of Terroir is a selection that reflects the essence of the vineyard in Altamira, Valle de Uco. This wine has its own unique style with very intense mineral characteristics which show the attributes of the best terroir of Argentina.

Marcelo Pelleriti is a rock star producer and winemaker in Mendoza, who became a renowned winemaker in the world of wine when in 2013 he achieved what many have dreamed of: becoming the first Latin American winemaker to ever get a 100 point score from the leading wine critic Robert Parker, for a wine he created in France.

Pelleriti Selection is made with handpicked grapes from 50-year-old, low-yielding vines. This wine represents Marcelo's dedication and passion, and will continue to develop with time to reach its full potential. A blend of 70% Malbec, 20% Petit Verdot and 10% Cabernet Franc, aged for 20 months in new French barriques. The nose is generous with complex aromas of ripe red fruit. Very well balanced. The palate is full-bodied and structured, with a long finish. Certainly delicious now, this will be even better after a year or two in the cellar (if you can wait that long!). Decant for 1 hour and serve between 14-16 °C (57-61 °F).

Award: 94 points James Suckling
