Petite Fleur Blend

Petite Fleur Blend is the most complex wine of Monteviejo's flagship line: Merlot, Malbec, Syrah and Cabernet Franc from the vineyards of Vista Flores, Valle de Uco. Bordeaux precision in the final blend, with the fruit intensity of the Argentine terroir.

Tasting notes

Deep, intense violet red. A complex nose of red and black fruit with a touch of bell pepper. Round, balanced tannins on the palate; elegant and persistent.

Food pairing

Hard cheeses, stews and red meat.

Winemaking

Valle de Uco, Mendoza, at 1,100 m altitude. Hand-picked. Cold maceration at 7 °C for 5 days, fermentation in stainless steel and malolactic fermentation in French oak. 70% of the wine is aged 12 months in second- and third-use French oak barrels, then 6 months in bottle. Serve at 15–16 °C. Winemaker José Mounier.
