Tasting notes

Intense garnet red with violet highlights. Floral notes of violets with fresh red fruit such as cherry and cassis. Concentrated, with noticeable tannins and hints of bitter cocoa and macerated fruit that linger on the finish.

Food pairing

Smoked cold cuts and sausages, grilled beef, asado, roast or stewed lamb, bean and vegetable stews, meat empanadas, meat pie, stuffed pasta with Bolognese sauce, or chicken stew with roasted vegetables.

Winemaking

Aged 9 months in French oak barrels (30% new, 70% second use). Aging potential 6 years. Winemaker Mariano Di Paola.
