Trumpeter is Bodega Rutini's range of varietal wines from Mendoza vineyards at 700 to 1,200 metres.

Tasting notes

Bright red with violet glints. Fruity aromas of plum and spices such as cinnamon and cardamom. Time in oak gives firm yet round tannins. An expressive, juicy red that is true to the variety.

Food pairing

Asado, lamb, meat empanadas, spiced roast vegetables, or roast beef with potatoes.

Winemaking

100% Malbec. Aged 7 months in French oak. Aging potential 4 years. Winemaker Mariano Di Paola.
