Trumpeter Merlot

Trumpeter is Bodega Rutini's range of varietal wines from Mendoza vineyards at 700 to 1,200 metres.

Tasting notes

Intense ruby with deep purple tones. Aromas of cherry and plum with touches of spice and a subtle herbal side. Very fruity, with silky tannins and good persistence.

Food pairing

Baked red meat, bean and lentil dishes, grilled vegetables, risotto and mushroom dishes.

Winemaking

100% Merlot. Aged 7 months in French oak. Aging potential 4 years. Winemaker Mariano Di Paola.
