Rutini Single Vineyard Altamira Malbec is 100% Malbec from a single vineyard in Altamira, one of the most prized areas of the Valle de Uco, at 1,400 m. A limited production of 15,000 bottles.

Tasting notes

Ruby red with violet hues. A symphony of aromas: violets and lavender with a subtle hint of anise, intertwined with delicate touches of cocoa and toast. Firm, well-structured tannins and a fresh, long finish.

Food pairing

Grilled red meat such as sirloin, ribeye or T-bone, lamb, grilled pork with rosemary, empanadas, meat pie, or ribs in Malbec sauce.

Winemaking

Aged 12 months in French oak barrels (50% new, 50% second use). Aging potential 15 years. Winemaker Mariano Di Paola.
