Rutini Colección Cabernet Sauvignon

Rutini Colección Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Altamira and Gualtallary in the Valle de Uco, at 1,150 m. The Colección range carries Rutini's most emblematic label; Rutini has been one of Argentina's most prestigious wine names since 1885.

Tasting notes

Intense ruby red with purple reflections. Intense aromas of ripe red fruit such as plum and blackberry intertwine with menthol accents and a hint of red pepper. French oak brings firm yet elegant tannins and great structure, with a finish of cocoa and coffee.

Food pairing

Grilled beef, a traditional Argentine asado, roast red meat, braised and sauced meats, coq au vin, stuffed pasta with stew, or boeuf bourguignon.

Winemaking

100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged 12 months in French oak barrels (40% new, 60% second use). Aging potential 8 years. Winemaker Mariano Di Paola.
