Rutini Single Vineyard Gualtallary Malbec is 100% Malbec from a single vineyard in Gualtallary, Valle de Uco, at 1,400 m. A limited production of 15,000 bottles.

Tasting notes

Deep purple with garnet reflections. Intense floral and fruity aromas of cherries, plums and blueberries. Red fruit and spice, mainly pepper and vanilla, are lifted by the oak, with accents of dark chocolate and tobacco. Balanced and vibrant, with a fresh, lingering finish.

Food pairing

Grilled red meat, ribeye with fries, oven-roasted beef, Mediterranean lamb, beef tenderloin skewers, spicy chicken empanadas, stews and casseroles with herbs and spices.

Winemaking

Aged 12 months in French oak barrels (50% new, 50% second use). Aging potential 15 years. Winemaker Mariano Di Paola.
