Rutini Single Vineyard Cabernet Franc

Rutini Single Vineyard Cabernet Franc is 100% Cabernet Franc from a single vineyard in Gualtallary, Valle de Uco, at 1,400 m. A limited production of 15,000 bottles.

Tasting notes

Intense, bright purplish garnet. Fresh and candied cherries with the light menthol notes typical of the variety, and hints of vanilla from the oak. Soft tannins and a vibrant, pleasantly persistent finish.

Food pairing

Roast or baked red meat, chicken and vegetable cannelloni, or lamb ragout with roasted eggplant.

Winemaking

Aged 12 months in French oak barrels (50% new, 50% second use). Aging potential 15 years. Winemaker Mariano Di Paola.
