Wapisa Cabernet Sauvignon

Wapisa Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the Los Acantilados estate in San Javier, Río Negro, in Atlantic Patagonia, Argentina. The vineyard sits just 100 m above sea level, close to the Atlantic Ocean, which gives the wine intense spice, good colour and structure.

Tasting notes

Intense red colour. Black fruit and plum jam on the nose and palate, with spicy hints of eucalyptus and black pepper. Eight months in oak add notes of coffee and chocolate. Long finish with friendly tannins.

Winemaking

100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Cold pre-maceration for 5 days, fermented in stainless steel, 100% malolactic fermentation, aged 8 months in oak barrels.
